How to Utilize Online Tee Times to Enhance Your Golf Course Operations

Recently, the team here at YasGolf conducted some in-depth research on Golf Course Websites, and we uncovered some revealing insight. Focusing specifically on “Online Tee Times” in this post, we present some tips to improve your website visitors’ user experience and ultimately your online tee time revenue.

Out of a sample size of 328 Golf Courses in Western Canada, only 198 of them (60%) offered Online Tee Times on their website.

Of the 198 golf courses that did offer Online Tee Times, the majority of them failed to provide effective opportunities for their website visitors (their golfers and customers) to follow the process of booking online. Two main items are required; 1. Provide appropriate calls to action to “Book a Tee Time”, and 2. Keep the website visitor contained within your website.
